Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026.
Pre-launch note. The platform is not yet accepting enrollments or contributions. Today this site collects only the standard technical information described in Section 2 and any email you choose to send us. The provisions below about accounts, Giving Plans, payments, and SMS describe the platform as it will operate after launch.
1. Who we are
50Two Inc. (“50Two,” “we,” “us”) is a Texas nonprofit corporation, EIN 42-1985099, with its principal office at 3427 Singer Ln, Frisco, Texas 75034. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit 50two.org, enroll in a Giving Plan, make a Support Us donation, or otherwise interact with the platform. It is incorporated by reference into the acknowledgment you accept at checkout, together with the Giving Plan Terms and Conditions.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you create an account or enroll in a Giving Plan we collect your name, email address, and, if you choose to provide it, a mobile phone number. When you make a payment, your payment card information is collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc.; 50Two does not receive, store, or have access to your full card number.
Information collected automatically. We collect standard technical information when you use the platform, including IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and timestamps, through server logs and essential cookies used to operate the site, maintain your session, and protect against fraud. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to: process contributions and issue contemporaneous written acknowledgments (receipts) for every payment; administer your account, renewals, and cancellation requests; send transactional communications by email and, if you opt in, by SMS (delivered through our service providers Resend and Twilio); publish free educational content and operate the platform; maintain the books, records, and tax filings required of a charitable organization; and comply with applicable law.
4. What we do not do with donor information
No donor’s identity, enrollment, payment amount, or payment timing is disclosed to any featured nonprofit organization, shortlist organization, or corporate sponsor. Donor information is not used to allocate, direct, or influence any grant: all grant decisions are made solely by 50Two’s Board of Directors under the Board’s Grantmaking Policy, and no donor acquires any advisory privilege with respect to any distribution by reason of any contribution. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except with the service providers identified in this Policy acting on our instructions, or as required by law.
5. Service providers
We use a small number of service providers to operate the platform: Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (web hosting), Resend (transactional email), Twilio (SMS, where you opt in), and Cloudflare (domain and network services). Each provider processes information only as needed to provide its service to 50Two.
6. Data retention and security
We retain contribution records and receipts for the periods required by federal tax law and our Document Retention Policy, and account information for as long as your account is active plus any legally required period. We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and the security features of the providers listed above. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
You may update your account information, cancel a Giving Plan prospectively, or unsubscribe from non-transactional email at any time through your account or by contacting us. You may opt out of SMS by replying STOP. Because every contribution is a completed, unconditional gift when made, cancellation applies prospectively only and does not affect prior contributions, as described in the Giving Plan Terms.
8. Children
The platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have done so, we will delete it.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy from time to time; the date above will reflect the current version, and material changes will be communicated through the platform. Questions and requests may be directed to 50Two Inc., 3427 Singer Ln, Frisco, Texas 75034, or admin@50two.org.
